Privato was founded in Arizona, where we’ve spent more than a decade delivering high-end private dining experiences and earning recognition as one of the region’s most trusted private chef teams. That same commitment to quality, hospitality and thoughtful execution now defines our limited destination offerings in Southwest Colorado, including Telluride, Mountain Village, Durango, Hesperus, Mancos, Dolores, Cortez, Rico and other surrounding private residences and luxury vacation homes. Colorado engagements are accepted selectively and in limited number each year.
Intimate by Design
In Southwest Colorado, Privato specializes in intimate tasting-menu experiences for gatherings of up to 14 guests.
Each dinner is structured as a multi-course culinary progression—thoughtfully paced and plated course-by-course, rather than a traditional family-style or catered format.
Chef Michael personally designs each menu the week of your event, guided by seasonal availability and the finest local ingredients. While dietary needs and preferences are carefully considered, the specific dishes and course flow are chef-curated to preserve the integrity of the tasting experience. This intentionally smaller format allows for refined pacing, elevated presentation and a seamless evening from first course to final bite.
